I was so happy that The O.C. came back last night. Not digging the Teresa pregnancy storyline, but had so much love for the HoYay! between Ryan and Seth. Sandy’s eyebrows seemed to be groomed and ready to start off the new season; whereas Jimmy’s facial hair made me think of the show Survivor. Ryan’s 5 o’clock shadow; which lasted most of the episode, leads me to believe that they don’t have razors in the (909). I wonder if Jimmy was in Chino over the summer break. Adam and Ben must have been spending their summer in the weight room, because both boys have bulked up nicely. I also dug the new haircuts on Kirsten and Seth.

 

What’s not to like? Well apart from Teresa’s pregnancy storyline; I’d have to pretty much say any scene the Marissa-Bot was in. I think it was said best on the boards with:

 

“I'm sure MB was trying to go for ‘angry’ in the meltdown scene but I ended up just giggling. That was some gawd awful screaming. It was like bad ass imitation of The Hulk, Marissa style! I would love to see outtakes from that. Melinda had to be laughing.”

 

“Am I the only one who noticed that when Marissa walked away, it's like one of her arms didn't move? Seriously, it was strange. Did she have a stroke or something and they forgot to tell us?”

 

“Mischa, honey. I know you were shooting for ‘frustrated & angry’ but it actually came off as ‘childlike & constipated.’ Now go away.”

 

“...and Marissa throws lawn furniture in the pool because it's the only thing left that she can pick up with her disorder-ravaged claw…”

Red meat isn't bad for you, but green fuzzy meat is.

A close friend or romantic partner might not seem very communicative today, and thus you might find yourself wondering whether or not this person still cares for you.
