I've been zipping through my Netflix lately and thought I'd comment on some recent movies I've gotten:
I'm Not Scared - Sometimes I zip through my recommendations and just throw movies into my que. Then I received this in the mail and thought, "I got some Italian flick about some kid stuck in a hole?" Actually, it's a great movie. Read the movie review on the link.
Facing Windows - More along the lines of my recent interest in foreign films; the description of this movie seemed intriguing enough to throw into my que. Wow, it's a GREAT movie. And this guy was HOT (but turns out to be an obsessive weirdo.)
Switching gears, I recently rented Saw. When it came out in theaters, I heard it was really stupid. I couldn't disagree more. It's terrifying and deranged, and has a plot that twists and turns. By the end of the movie I was completely freaked out (which is different than just plain grossed out as is the case with many horror flicks.) The clown in Poltergeist has nothing on this dude.
