Helpless desk at it again

Two recent phone conversations I've had:

Me calling the helpdesk - 

Me: Hi I need to find out if the Board Room in Irvine Hall is set up for internet, either wireless or wired. Can you tell me?
Him: Um, I don't know, you need to call NACS for that, I can't help you.

Me calling NACS - 

Me: Hi I was told to call you to see if the Irvine Hall Board Room is set up for internet either wireless or wired.
Him: Who told you that?
Me: My helpdesk
Him: Your helpdesk told you to call us?
Me: Yup
Him: You've got to be kidding. They should know, not us. I have no idea. Try dragging a computer in there and test it out. Good luck on that.
