And I have to say that I am SO sick of forms asking me if I am:
Single
Married
Divorced
Widowed
Doesn't "divorced" and "single" equal the same fucking thing if I am not married and not widowed? And am I supposed to someday check more than one box? Like I've been divorced, and a widow, and currently married? I understand needing to give a name of the closest relative near me in case something happens, but I don't quite understand why forms make this distinction and it bugs me.
