Rocking the shopping
Dec. 21st, 2007 09:18 amSo last night I went out in the rain to tie up some loose ends with buying gifts. I got an AWESOME deal at Mervyn's. Usually I don't shop there because their size 10 shoes are more like a 9.5 (and 10 is as high as they go) and the stores around here usually look like the local Office Depot I've bitched out before.
But I had a coupon of $10 off a purchase of $25 or more, and I needed to get something for my dad, maybe something for mom, and a sweater for Grandma that she can wear in the home.
They had a sale, I kid you not, of buy one, get two free. So I got three sweaters (two for grams and one for my mom) for $28. Then I got some PJ's for dad and something for Chris. Everything in the store seemed to be on sale.
Today at lunch I am going to get some stocking stuffers and then by golly, I am done.
