I call false advertising. That isn't going to be anywhere near me, I'm so disappointed!

In the lovely words of Luke on The OC, "Welcome to the O.C., bitch. This is how it's done in Orange County."

Ha ha ha! Man I loved that show the first few seasons... Ahhh those were the days!

Oh... we don't have TV so... erm...

*whistles*

The last show I watched with any regularity was CSI. The original, when it first aired, because I spent a lot of time at my parents, and my mom liked to watch it.

The OC was funny and then turned into a craptastic train wreck after a few seasons. I still have seasons one and two and bust them out in between hockey seasons and re-runs.

The funnier part were the little snide things that only a few people would understand - like Caleb Nichol (the rich dad) was totally modeled after Donald Bren (see my post yesterday about the OC wealthy guys...) One of the writers is a UCI alum (where Bren gives a lot of cash...)

But then again it was filmed in LA, so sometimes it was a complete stretch to call it The OC. Overall it was a soap opera that was in prime time.

And that just reminded me, the "I'm not good at talking about stuff" on my journal page came from a line in that show. I started this LJ based on my fanfic I used to write about the show.
