My dogter is being clingy

Ever since I came home from Toastmasters she has been all up in my business. I took her out for a long walk, and have been hugging and kissing on her. She is relentlessly clingy for some reason and I can't figure it out. Normally she'd be going to get her rope toy to play fetch, but she is laying at my feet; head on my foot. She is literally blocking me from scooting closer to my desk.

Weird.

I think she is also afraid of the new automated kitchen trash even though she doesn't trigger it to open.

Buster always tries to separate me from my computer, iPhone and even the normal telephone. He knows it's taking my attention away when it should be on HIM!

Its a big scary monster. Muppet tries to crawl into our laps and push laptops off of us so we pay attention to him. Luckily big dog doesnt.
