Finally

I paid some bills last night and decided that yeah, I need to and can afford to go to my beloved hair gal and get my hair cut (fixed, not cut shorter) and colored and highlighted. I am going to go lighter, which makes it easier for the gray to be less obvious as well as summer is coming. And considering what some of you gals have posted about how much your hair gals cost, I guess I have been a Scrooge to think mine was too expensive.

While I couldn't get this Saturday, I can get next Wednesday the 20th at 6 PM. Since Lost will be over, I am jazzed to be getting it done.

I read this right after I caved and made an appointment to get my hair cut. If the number you said was you paying for cut and color then you're getting an awesome deal.

She charges $40 for a cut, and if I remember correctly, about $60 - 70 or so for color and highlights. Its been awhile since she's colored my hair though...

I had highlights only done just before the wedding, I think that was $60 and then I had it cut only right after the wedding and that was $40. Its been so long since I went on a regular basis that I can't remember.

I wish I could have it done before next Wednesday since that is our meeting, but oh well.

Yeah, those are good prices. I pay $75 just for a cut.

The pain in the ass part is that she is in the right-across-the-street-from-the-Westminster-Mall part of Huntington Beach, so the commute there is a bitch. Especially on a work day.

Oh gawd that sucks. My hair chick was on Main Street in Seal Beach (when I lived in LBC) and getting to her blew. It'll be worth it when you have happy hair.

Yeah, I think that's a good deal. I found a place where I pay $35 for a cut and they give me free beer. I'm still too cheap to get it colored but I've been thinking about some red stripes... I think highlights start around $75.
