Part of my job is to read magazines like Fortune and Forbes. I read an article about the Redfin website and how they were undercutting traditional realtors on their fees. The site is amazing for those looking to buy a home or condo. Unlike a lot of search engines, they give the actual address, the assessor's valuation, what the home was originally listed at (to see how far they've had to come down in this housing market), how long it's been on the market, and almost all of them have a slew of pictures.
I have already found a handful of affordable single-family homes I would do cartwheels for that are near where my condo is now.
