I did it - I graduated!

So I went to the UC Irvine Extension graduation with my parents and Chris and as we walked into the social sciences lecture hall it hit me, I was graduating from UC Irvine, the school I wanted to go to had I had the grades and the money. Don't get me wrong, I am DAMN proud of my BA degree from CSUF because I had to work full time and go to school at night and finished, but I am also proud of this one because even though it isn't a DEGREE, I did put in a lot of classroom hours, homework hours, money and effort (at night and while working full time) into getting this certificate in Business Administration.

So I got to go up on stage, and they read my name off and I got to shake some hands and walk across and go sit back down. Afterwards they had a reception with some snacks and some jazz music out in the courtyard and the weather had finally cooled down to a nice breeze. Then we went back to my parents' house and they got me a really nice card, a bottle of marg mix, and a gift card to Alcapulco Restaurant. (YUM!) 

And the Lakers lost anyways, so I'm glad I didn't bail to watch the game. I am really glad that I went and I got to see two classmates who also graduated so we all kinda walked in order and clapped for each other.
