F&E news for the locals

They are going to slowly phase out the coupons, and confirmation that expired ones might still work (I've experienced this.) I wondered if this would happen considering they don't have the stellar sales they were hoping for.

But hey, they are still cheaper than the big box grocery stores. And the pizza dough is AWESOME. We are making pizza tonight with it.

Our F& E is way more expensive than the ones down there. It's not worth shopping there because their prices are ridiculous. It was totally disappointing. The prices up here are almost double the ones in Whittier by Grandma and Grandpa's house.

Ours stopped having coupons on the store about a month ago. Now they only have them in the junk mails stuff once a week, and is was $6 of $30 instead of $50 of $20. Obviously it was only to pull in new customers and they hope we'll keep coming back. We will, but now we'll have to make the second trip to Stater Brothers more often.

I guess I was so busy with wedding planning and not shopping that I hadn't noticed. I just got two in the mail: $6 off $30 and then 3 for $5 off $20 for some anniversary. I guess I need to use those a little more wisely.

I only shop about twice a month unless I need to pick up something special, so I try and minimize my trips as much as I can and since SB is around the corner I do both too.
